01About
I'm a civil engineer with nearly five years of hands-on design, field and construction experience on roads, drainage, municipal infrastructure and buildings, and I've always made health and safety my first priority. These days I call Mississauga home. I'm a Canadian Permanent Resident and a P.Eng. Applicant with PEO.
At Unique Engineering Consultancy, I joined as an intern and was promoted to civil engineer within six months. I designed and analyzed road, building, drainage and municipal projects, coordinated six engineering disciplines and prepared specifications and estimates for packages worth up to about $1.5 million Canadian. On site, I supervised three to four contractors at a time and crews of 15 to 30 workers, ran weekly progress meetings and checked the work against the approved drawings.
At Swisscontact, I started as a program intern and became a technical officer on QualiTY, a Swiss government-funded national project with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) to accredit more than 250 technical and vocational education and training (TVET) schools. I worked directly with 62 schools across 13 districts, tracked over 40 yearly plan activities in Smartsheet, reported progress in Power BI dashboards and helped roll out a national occupational health and safety protocol.
Then came an Executive MBA, which I was proud to finish as valedictorian. So I can check the drawings and also talk through what they mean for cost, schedule and the people involved.

Capstone · EMBA 2024
As capstone team lead, I coordinated input from local government, the private sector and technical stakeholders to develop a strategic plan for sustainable urban infrastructure in Nepal. The team presented the plan as part of the 2024 EMBA program.

Design, analysis and evaluation for road, building, drainage and municipal infrastructure, coordinating six disciplines (structural, geotechnical, transportation, hydrology, environmental and survey) to resolve design conflicts before they reached site. Drawings in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, structural models in ETABS and SAFE.

Hydrological analyses and drainage and stormwater management design for municipal, road and site development projects, adapting standard details to conditions such as drainage on steep terrain.

Detailed engineering surveys, road inventory and geometric design for four district road project reports prepared for Nepal's Department of Roads, covering about 120 km of road.

Supervising 3 to 4 contractors and crews of 15 to 30 workers against approved drawings, with weekly inspections, slump tests, concrete cube sampling, DCP testing and material sampling, and resolving field problems on the spot.

Drafted the Construction Carpentry NC II standard with CTEVT and the National Skill Testing Board, coordinating 5+ workshops with over 100 officials, industry experts and engineers. Then helped roll out a national occupational health and safety protocol for TVET schools, developing 5 compliance checklists and monitoring their use.
